The first thing that we need to know is that God doesn’t give us the spirit of fear. We were only born with 2 fears and that is the fear of loud noises and the fear of falling, ever other fear was taught to us as we grew older. For that if we can teach ourselves to be fearful then we can teach ourselves to let go of that fear and be fearless. God gives us the Spirit of LOVE, POWER, and SOUND MIND (2Tim1:7).
Judges 6, 7- You will read about a man name Gideon. Even though he has a small part in the Bible, he shows a tremendous amount of faith in the Lord, which we should all learn from him. Some of the things that Gideon was afraid of:
1) He was afraid that God isn’t going to be faithful. (God is with you even when things are going South).
2) Was afraid that wasn’t good enough. (If only we see ourselves the way God see us. God wants us to live a fearless life).
Judges 6:16- The Lord answered: “I will be with you and we shall defeat the Midianites together.”
Gideon was instructed by God to defeat the Midianites that had taken over Israel. Now the Midianites was a large group of people so Gideon had to find soldiers to help fight. He was able to gather about 32,000 men. God told him that he had too many men, so God ask Gideon to get rid of anyone that was fearful and afraid. So 22,000 men turned and went home, and 10,000 remain, but God said that was still too many. So God ask Gideon to take the 10,000 men to a lake and have them drink water, and the ones that drink a certain way shall stay. So the men that drink water like a dog should turn and go home, and the rest should stay and fight. After the test, there were only 300 men that was able to stay and fight with Gideon against an army that had 250,000 men. Gideon had his faith in the Lord and trusted in Him enough to follow His words and not worry about being slaughter by the Midianites. Since Gideon has his faith, he was able to defeat the Midianites and save Israel. The Midianites were already defeated way before the fighting begun, because Gideon had faith in the Lord. Gideon walked by faith and not by sight. You have to know that you will be knocked down a few times before God will help you up. It’s like a sling shot effect. You have to pull the slingshot back in order for the ball to fly, if you don’t the ball will just fall out. So before you go forward you have to go backwards.
We Are Victorious In Christ
Question: What has fear kept you from doing what God has called you to do?
In 2Sam 23:20,21- Talks about a man that has killed lions, why because he wasn’t afraid. So we should ask ourselves, What Lion do you need to chase or What do you need to conquer? In this case the Lion is what problems that we have in our lives. As the man didn’t fear of jumping into a pit and killing those lions, because he had faith in God. Most people would fear of going into a pit with lions and confront them, but this man in 2Sam didn’t have his fear and conquer those lions.
As believers we need to be lion casers. Have no fear. Have Love, Power and Sound Mind.
To be lion chasers we need to know is:
1) The Bigger God is the Smaller the lion is. God is bigger than any problems we may have. If we think differently than our faith isn’t strong. There is NO ONE like my GOD. God can beat anything.
2) Playing it safe is risky. It could wind up hurting yourself and others as well.
Hebrews 11:6- But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
2Cor. 5:7- For we walk by faith and not by sight.
In 1Sam 15 and 16 talks about a King that had the fear of coming up short and running out. God has called upon this King to kill ever man, women, children and life stock in a town, but didn’t because of his fear of running out of resources. Because he disobey Gods command he was curse which ended up leading to his death. Disobedience leads to curses but obedience leads to blessings.
A certain tribe in Africa hunt and kill monkeys for food, and what ever parts they may need from them. In order to capture these monkeys they drill a small hole in the top of a coconut to tie a rope into it and then hang it from a tree. They also put some rice in the coconut for the monkeys to grab. At the bottom of the coconut they cut a hole big enough to slip their hand in. So when they grab the rich their hands becomes into a fist, now their hand are too small to get out of the whole. They know the enemy’s are coming but they won’t let go. The monkeys believe that they want this so badly that they won’t let go, so they end up starving and dying. That is the same with us. We want something so badly that we have a fear of coming up short. So if we don’t learn to let go we are going to end up like those monkeys in Africa.
1) Knowing that God is out unlimited supplier.
2) Start knowing who you are in God.
3) Understanding and know what God can do through you.
Have faith in God and He will provide with everything that you need. God said test me on this. Tithing 10% of what you make before taxes and God tells you to test Him and He will show you how far 90% will go. Pick a risky fight, meaning fight something that you are afraid of doing and put your faith into the Lord. For example, put your 10% in tithing, something that you might be afraid to do because you are worried about not having enough money to pay a bill. Take the risk and believe in God that He will provide for what you need. He will make sure that your bill is paid with the 90% that you have left. Live lift riskily and selfless. Don’t live just for yourself but for others because there are people out there that are going to hell, and it is our job as Christians is to tell people about the Word of God. Victory will come when you are obedient. Have no fear, live within the Spirit that God has provided for you: LOVE, POWER and SOUND MIND.
Living True To God
Ever wanted to know God? Well in this blog I try to show you what God is doing for us. My main goal is to explain to people what will happen when Jesus comes back for the second time. Reading the Revelations tells you everything about what is to come, and here I try to put it in a way to help people understand it better. Have fun reading.

Abiding in Christ
Abiding to god means to accept Him into your life. Believe that He is our Father and that He sent down His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Without God then nothing good is ever going to happen in your life (well nothing that is worth anything). Some things may seem that life is good, but it's never fulfilling, your always wanting more. You can be rich and have all the money in the world but without God in your life, you won't be satisfied or truely happy. With God all things are possible. You can't properly function unless you have Christ in your life. Just like in John 15:5 * said that God is the vine and you are the branches, and together you make fruit. You can't make fruit with out the other. So accept God into your life and folow His words and you will blossom. So that when He returns that you won't be afraid or ashamed of your life because you have given it to Him. Call on Him and He will be there every step of the way. Amen
Spread the word of the Lord and be prepare to answer any questions that are thrown at you. With Christ you won't need money. The only thing you'll need is Him. He will take care of you in every way that is needed, no more or no less.
*John 15:5- "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing."
1John 2:28- And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
2John 9- Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.

Does God Really Care About Us?
We live in a world full of cruelty and injustice. Many religions teach that the sufferings we ecperience are God's will.
What the Bible teaches: God never causes what is wicked. "Far be it from the true God to act wickedly, and the Almighty to act unjustly!" says Job 34:10. God has a loving purpose for humans. That is why Jesus taught us to pray: "Our Father in the heavens, let...your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth." (Matthew 6:9,10) God cares so deeply about us that he has gone to great lengths to make the fulfillment of his purpose a certainty. John 3:16.
Job 34:10- "Therefore listen to me, you men of understandingL Far be it from God to do wickedness, and from the Almighty to commit iniquity."
Matt 6:9,10- Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. You kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive out debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliever us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
John 3:16- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everylasting life.
Genesis 1:26-28- Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; full the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
James 1:13- Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
1Peter 5:6,7- Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in dire time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Christian Movies To See
I am sure that most of you have heard about the movie "Letter's to God." Well I have to say that movie is really inspiring. It will also make you cry. This movie is about a little boy that has a rare brain cancer and has a great relationship with God. He keeps his faith strong through all the hardship that he has to go through. His favorite way of talking with God is to write letters to Him. Every letter that he writes he places it in the mail box to be delivered. Even though you can't possibly send letters to God, but God knows what you have written and hears what you have to say. By this boy sending these letters to God, made others see his faith and love for God. He has made others to write to God as well. I believe that this is a good was to communicate with God. Tell the Lord how you feel and just talk to Him like you would when you talk to your mom. Write a letter to Him as you would write a letter to you mom to tell her how you are doing. With God you can tell Him all your deep dark secrets and what is bothering you. He will be there for you with all your hard times and good ones as well. I for one have started writing letters to God, at least once a day and sometimes more than once.
Another movie to watch is "To Save A Life." This is a about a high school boy who is struggling with his best friends suicide. You not only walk through his struggles, but you will learn what it means to judge people. The way school is, kids feel like that they need to fit in and that everyone needs to like them. You have your popular kids and then you have you nerds. The ones that get hurt the most are the nerds. There are a lot of bulling going on in schools, which can lead to kids being depress enough to where they want to kill themselves or even kill other people. So I encourage you to watch this movie and learn not to judge people by how they look. Get to know someone and love them no matter what. It is not our place to judge people, that is Gods job. Even if you don't choose to be friends with someone thats fine, but don't treat them like crap. Be nice to everyone you come in contact with because in the long run you will be judge by God on how you treat people, and also on other things you have done in your life. If you don't like to be laughed at, or get beat up, then why do it to someone else? Treat people like you want to be treated. Don't judge and be fair to other people because you don't know what is going on in their lives. Seek God for help if you are having trouble. Also if you know about someone that is having a hard time and seems to be depress, tell someone to try and get some help. If you are one of those people please seek help from someone. There are a lot of places that can help. God Bless everyone.

5 Lessons About the Way We Should Treat People
I have gotten this is an email and I thought that I should share it with everyone.
1). Cleaning Lady
During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the women who cleans the school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning women several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50's, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade. "absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say 'hello.'" I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was "Dorothy."
2.) Pickup in the Rain
One night, at 11:30pm, an older Afican American women was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rain storm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, which was generally unheard of in the conflict-filled 1960's. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxi cab. She seemed to be in a big hutty, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A special note was attached. It read:
"Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away. God Bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others.
Sincerly,
Mrs. Nat King Cole."
3). Always Remember Those Who Serve
In the days when an ice cream sundae cost mush less. a 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him...
"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked.
"Fifty cents," replied the waitress.
The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it. "Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired. By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient.
"Thirty-five cents," she brusquely replied. The little boy again counted his coins.
"I'll have the plain ice cream," he said. The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left. When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies. You see, he couldn't have the sundae because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.
4). The Obstacle in Our Path
In ancient times, a king had a boulder placed on a roadway, then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the King's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he notice a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned whant many of us never understand! Every obstacle presents an opportuinty to improve our condition.
5). Giving When it Counts
Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz, who was suffering from a rare and serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year-old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I say him hesitate for only a moment before takinga deep breath and saying, "Yes I'll do it if it will save her."
As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away." Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor. He thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.
MOST IMPORTANT, REMEMBER TO: WORK LIKE YOU DON'T NEED THE MONEY; LOVE LIKE YOU'VE NEVER BEEN HURT; AND DANCE LIKE YOU DO WHEN NOBODY IS WATCHING.

Unity, Joy, Hope
Romans 15 is a great chapter once you get a good understanding of it. It first starts out about unity. Unity is so important as Christians, and yet it is something we often neglect. When are united with Christians, we can sing a louder song, and be a brighter light for our Lord, so couldn't we then see a stronger movement of Christ? The chapter is also about joy and hope in Christ, which He brings us through the deep connection with Him, through the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13- "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
There is a point that when times get rough we tend to want to just burn mentally, or even spiritually....with our focus on what you are doing, and forgetting that the deep spiritual connection and unity with Christ is the first important thin in all we do, and yet we start to over look that. When things get to be bad and we need a reminder of what is truelly important this verse could pop out of now where to help you get back on track. This could happen to any issues that is currently the problem in your life. For this scripture it suppose to remind you that we don't need to worry about trying to rush to get things done that God wants us to do....we first nee to focus on our relationship and walk with Him. Pray about your issues and worries and you will have them drift away and have a renewed sense of joy again. Keep walking in His word, and His will shall be done, on His time, not yours.
Try this out: Write down anything that you are worried about on a piece of paper. It could be money, car, family, relationship, work, etc. Once you done so pray to the Lord about them, and then throw the paper away or burn it. There are no longer your problem, they are Gods. He has taken the worry away and will make sure that you are taken care of. As long as you have faith and walk with Him your won't have to worry any more.
That point I am trying to make with this scripture is that, it's so easy to get knocked down emotionally as a Christian, sepecially when we get caught up so easily in doing the work of God, without connecting with God. It is just too much...too difficult to do. Isn't it awesome though that we have Him to guide us through it all?
God Bless

Witnessing
What does witnessing mean to me? Well what is the meaning of a witness? A witness is a person that has observed something and shares what they have seen with others. They are usually used for Criminal cases. Now when it comes to witnessing in the name of the Lord, it will be a little bit different. For starters the person that you will be talking about isn’t a physical being. No one can see Him, so this will be a lot harder for you as a Christian to witness to people.
What does being a witness means to me? There are many different ways to be a witness. You can go out on the streets and start talking about the Lord for everyone to hear (which I believe is the hardest way to witness), you can talk about the Lord in blogs (which I do), or you can talk to individual people. Since I am a person that fears of talking to big crowds or people I don’t know I resort to spreading the word through the computer. It is not the easiest and there can be a lot of step back, but in the end I always come back to it.
What do I talk about when I witnessing? The thing that I do is I just go through the Bible and look at a certain topic that I want to talk about. Just like this one I want to talk about witnessing. Anything that you can imagine ever happing to you, you can always turn to the Bible to help you figure things out. All you really do is talk about the Lord and how awesome he is. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all people (1 Chron. 16:24). In other words tell every nation on earth that, “The Lord is wonderful and does marvelous things! Why not spread that around? It is also best to tell people some of your testimonies that way they can see the wonderful things that God has done for you as well. The hardest thing about this job is that you will have people that are not going to react kindly to your preaching. Some people can get violent, and the best thing to do is get back up and continue what you were doing before. That will be the time when the Lord will guide and help you the most. He will not let you down. Don’t be afraid for being attacked and quit, then that will show God that you don’t have faith in Him to take care of you. You will also get people that are going to ask a lot of questions. So let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one (Colossians 4:6). In other words be pleasant and hold their interest when you speak the message. Choose your words carefully and be ready to give answers to anyone who asks questions.
Witnessing is as simple as talking to your friend. If you have a hard time with it just call on the Lord for help, He will give you the strength and guide you on what you need to do. All you have to do is listen. God is here to help us with any hard times. That is why He sent his son us. Jesus was here to be a witness to us. He is our key to be one with God. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself thorough Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and his committed to as the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as through God were pleading through us; we implore you on Christ’s behalf be reconciled to God. For he made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corin. 5:18-21).This means that God has done it all. He sent Christ to make peace between Himself and us, and he has given us the work of making peace between Himself and others. What we mean is that God was in Christ, offering peace and forgiveness to the people of this world. And He has given is the work of sharing his message. We speak for Christ and sincerely ask you to make peace with God. Christ never sinned! But God treated Him as a sinner, so that Christ could make us acceptable to God. So why should be let the witnessing stop with Jesus and His disciples? When it is so close to the second coming of Christ there is no way that we should be pulling away from Him. God is the only one that has ever gave promises that was never broken. He gave us truth and freedom. He could have easily taken away our power to have free will, but He didn’t want people to believe in Him just because He said. He wanted to believe in Him because they want to believe. For example, would you want someone to love you for who you are and not for you money? He gave us our free will to believe and follow Him as we wish, and with that He make sure that He has provided for His followers. When he provides for his followers, then they witness to people on how God has done this and that for them. Read the Bible and learn the things the God is able to do for His people. God out and tell the world. You will feel so good about yourself, and start noticing good things to happen. Why not share that with the world? God is our Father, Friend and Partner and He deserves more than what most people give Him, but He is also forgiving and will accept anyone that will turn to Him. Know God and then share Him with the world.

What does being a witness means to me? There are many different ways to be a witness. You can go out on the streets and start talking about the Lord for everyone to hear (which I believe is the hardest way to witness), you can talk about the Lord in blogs (which I do), or you can talk to individual people.
